Grant recipients of the Underserved, Disability, Justice for Families, ICJR, and Rural and State Coalition programs are invited to join us for our fourth Summit of judicial leaders committed to ending domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. As a judicial officer who has been involved with our previous programs, we invite you to our JEN Summit. The Summit provides an opportunity for judicial officers to share innovative ideas and leadership strategies for improving responses to domestic violence.
JEN Purpose Statement: The Judicial Engagement Network will engage and connect judges on a regular basis to foster leadership skills, facilitate peer-to-peer support, promote cutting-edge best practices, increase access to justice, provide resources for continuing judicial education, and encourage collaboration among all judges in order to improve responses to domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
Note: Space is limited. Registration is first come, first served. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you receive a confirmation letter from the NCJFCJ confirming your attendance and providing specific meeting and travel information. Limited scholarship funding is available on a first come, first served basis to assist with travel costs. Please contact Jenny Talancon at jtalancon@ncjfcj.org for more information on scholarships.
OVW Grantees: Grant recipients of the Underserved, Disability, Justice for Families, ICJR, and Rural and State Coalition programs have been conditionally approved to attend this conference. Grantees interested in attending are required to contact their OVW program specialist to receive approval specific to their award and to ensure that a Grant Award Modification (GAM) is issued. A GAM must be completed before grantees commit or expend any funds to attend this conference. The reference number for this conference is 15JOVW-21-GK-02256-MUMU. Grantees must use this number when requesting approval via a GAM or in their “memo to the file.” This approval and assigned reference number are for this conference only. Note: Justice for Families and Mentor Court Grantees are able to use their funds for this program and do not need to seek a GAM.
