Increasing Domestic Violence Awareness Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the NCJFCJ’s Increasing Domestic Violence Awareness Scholarship, established in 2023 through a donation from past NCJFCJ Board Director Jeanne Karadanis.

The Increasing Domestic Violence Awareness Scholarship covers conference registration fees, and is available to domestic violence advocates and law enforcement officers who are members in good standing of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ).

Completion of a scholarship application form and registration for a tuition-based NCJFCJ program or conference is a requirement of the application process.

Applications are currently being accepted for tuition scholarships to attend:

  • The 2025 National Conference on Juvenile Justice is scheduled for March 16-19, 2025, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts.
    Applications are due no later than January 10, 2025.
  • The 88th Annual Conference is scheduled for July 20 – 23, 2025, at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park in Chicago, Illinois.
    Applications are due no later than May 9, 2025.

The Increasing Domestic Violence Awareness Scholarship

  • Judge, magistrate, attorney, child welfare professional, probation officer, etc.
    Membership will be verified at application review.
  • The mission of the NCJFCJ is to provide all judges, courts, and related agencies involved with juvenile, family, and domestic violence cases with the knowledge and skills to improve the lives of the families and children who seek justice.
  • Name, contact information, relationship, etc.
