KOLO 8, Adoption in Action: Abel's Story

Every year, families across the U.S. adopt a child. For Abel Henry Martin, that day came after three years of being with his foster family.

Judge Egan Walker, board director of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, believes it is a privilege to be in attendance at an event like this. For him and other judges across the nation, signing a decree of adoption is a day of celebration.
