Backpage, a classified advertising website that had become the largest marketplace for buying and selling sex was shut down but the fight against child sex trafficking continues.
A woman, who at the time was 14-years-old, explains how she was sold for sex via Backpage. Her story is not an isolated occasion. Backpage ads included code words to let buyers know which were selling children.
