The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) adopted a new resolution which promises shifts in juvenile justice policy and practice.
NCJFCJ outlines changes to modernize probation approaches to reflect knowledge of adolescent development and behavioral decision-making. This means that every juvenile will receive an individualized case plan in an effort to guide their youth toward a positive adulthood.
