NCJFCJ is pleased to announce a 1.5 day workshop based on the 4-Pronged Approach to Incentives and Sanctions. This training opportunity is designed to assist JDTC professionals with implementing incentives and sanctions effectively within the JDTC program. Participants will learn how a strength-based atmosphere, micro-economy, behavior contracts, and reframing drug testing can work together to promote behavior change in youth. It is through the consistent application of behavior modification techniques that JDTC programs can reduce the risk of a youth’s reoffending and ensure long-term public safety while also helping youth develop the skills necessary to be productive members of their communities.
