Report
This report discusses Ohio’s juvenile courts’ need to improve their tracking tools for dependency matters/caseloads. The article also touches on why it can be expensive or difficult for juvenile courts to modify automated systems that are already in place, and to develop new programs that can better track dependency cases. This bulletin is a quarterly publication that refers to a constellation of activities jointly administered by the Supreme Court of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to improve both the interaction between child welfare and judicial systems and the effectiveness of an intervention in cases involving families where judicial action is required.
