Juvenile and Family Law Digest is produced monthly by the National Center for Juvenile Justice. The April 2011 issue highlights two pieces of proposed legislation, one concerning a juvenile delinquent’s right to waive counsel, and the other concerning the Indian Child Welfare Act. It summarizes recent case law on various issues, including life sentences for juveniles, sex offender registration, same-sex marriage, and the Indian Child Welfare Act.
