New judge, new coordinator, new therapist… court professionals often transition on Juvenile Drug Court (JDC) teams. A change in team dynamics can be challenging when an established collaborative process is in place. To maintain cohesion a JDC should have a set of practices in place to manage the transition of a new team member into the existing drug court team. Except taken from 7 (Easy) Steps to Creating a Transition Policy for Juvenile Drug Court Team Members, published in Juvenile and Family Justice TODAY, Winter 2013 will be introduced. This online workshop, based on the above-mentioned article, focuses on practical solutions to creating and codifying a transition policy for JDC team members. This online webinar presentation will be interactive in nature, with real-world examples and resources.
